Janay Harris is the Founder and Lead Architect of Synaptik Core, a cognitive infrastructure company building governed memory and deterministic state management for AI systems.
With a background in blockchain and distributed systems, Janay developed her expertise in audit-critical, high-reliability environments, including psychiatric care operations and DOT/FMCSA compliance — domains where system integrity and accountability were architectural requirements, not optional features.
She is the inventor on three provisional patents underpinning Synaptik Core's governed memory and cognitive substrate. She has architected and implemented the full system end-to-end, including persistent multi-lobe memory, cryptographic lineage tracking, deterministic replay mechanisms, and real-time stability controls for high-stakes AI applications.
At Synaptik Core, Janay leads engineering and research at the intersection of control theory, cognitive modeling, and distributed systems, designing mechanisms that make AI behavior auditable, reproducible, and predictable over long horizons.
